Interlibrary Loan Service

“Interlibrary loan service” is offered Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology Library faculty, students and staff who are engaged in research. Materials unavailable in the STUST library often may be obtained from other libraries. All Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology Library faculty, students and staff may use the "NDDS system" to access the “Interlibrary loan service”.

Who May Use This Service?
Document Delivery/Interlibrary loan is a service offered Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology Library faculty, students and staff who are engaged in research.

Time Required
The average time required to obtain material from another source is three days to two weeks. Requests that must be sent internationally usually is two weeks to four weeks which may take considerably longer than this average.

Duration of Loans
The loan period borrowed material is set by the lending library and is indicated on a date due slip in the book. Materials borrowed from other sources cannot be renewed . Borrowers will be billed for non-returned overdue items. If a borrower continually disregards due dates, it may be necessary to refuse further service. Books should be returned to the Circulation Counter on First Floor.

(1) Libraries of Domestic Colleges
Please change the interlibrary loan card of other colleges at the Circulation Counter on the First Floor, each card follow the policy and procedures of the other library, and do not provide renewal and reservation services.

(2) The library signed many interlibrary loan cooperative agreements to share libraries resources with each other. The 17 cooperated libraries are： National Cheng Kung University, National Sun Yat-sen University, National Tsing Hua University, Shih Chien University, National Chung Cheng University, National Taiwan University, Shih Hsin University, Chang Jung Christian University ,National Tainan University, Leader University, National University of Kaohsiung, Kaohsiung Medical University, Tamkang University, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Chi University and National Kaohsiung Normal University, Dayeh University.
