Rules and Privileges
   

a.

Using privileges are granted to STUST faculty, staff and students who hold a valid STUST ID card, or other patrons who have a valid inter-library card. 
b.
Each equipments in Multimedia Area must manipulate by library staffs.
c.
Food, drink, water, books, and sack may not be consumed inside the Multimedia Area, please put them into lockers.
d.
Children under 12 years of age should be accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
e.
Every user in open area must wear earphones to avoid interferencing with each other.
f.
Please don't play non-public-broadcasting media in multimedia area lest against Copyright Regulations. Abuse this rule may result in loss three-month borrowing privilege.
g.
If leave your seat more than 15 minutes, regards as abandonment the right of watching.
h.
Abuse of library privileges may result in stopping the right of using any services immediately
 

Services
 
a.      Access to materials in the Library Media Collection [e.g. videos, audio CDs, DVDs, Tapes]
b.
Watching MOD (Multimedia on Demand) programs.
c.
Watching cable TV programs, satellite TV programs.
d.
Using Movie Appreciation Room, Group Audiovisual Room, Music Appreciation Area, and Language Study Area.
e.
Enjoying Body Stretching Area.
   

Borrowing Procedure
 

a.

First of all, please search Library WebPAC for your information, then go to Media Collections to take the item you need. Then you can borrow items, seat or earphones under mortgage library card.
b.
Before check out items, please check is there any scrape or damage. If any damage occurs on returning item, it regards as the responsibility of the last borrower.
c.
Each time each person may borrow one item in a 3-hour limit. Users may ask to lengthen time to finish broadcasting.
d.
Finish broadcasting please close power, earphones, and arrange seat, then return item in person to exchange your library card.
e.
Only faculty and staff can borrowing public-broadcasting materials for teaching and research. Each person is allowed to borrow maximum 3 items for loan period of 5 days and no renewals. 
   
   Returning
 

Items must be returned in person to the Multimedia Counter on 12th Floor when the Multimedia Area is open. The Library is not responsible for improperly returned items. All items returned after due or recall date are subject to fines established by STUST Library. Further, any person who steals or mutilates library materials are subject to punish under the provisions of STUST regulation.
